Tandir Restaurant in Cologne

The food was really tasty. Good selection at fair prices. Cozy restaurant. Absolutely acceptable even in Corona times. Open windows and doors and plastic between the tables. Unfortunately the waitress was really uncomfortable, super rude and stressed us out. We couldn't even study the map in peace. The other waiters seemed more personable and relaxed. Too bad. That broke a lot for us.

Delicious food, good service. The food was plentiful and the price / performance ratio was definitely right. There is always flat bread with a dip before the meal and a tea after the meal on the house. I had a bit of bad luck with my lamb because it was a bit greasy and the fries unfortunately cold, but the food of my companion was 100%. We'll come again!

Sorry for me it is not at all recommendable to wait more than 40 minutes for the food to which everything was brought wrong, sometimes forgotten only when I paid and wanted to leave then they wanted to give me the forgotten food! We were here for breakfast, the food was delicious, there is quite a large selection And all in all, it was very good. The service was also great very nice people the toilets are also very clean. There is also free WiFi. I found the food very good, the dessert was hard, not really enjoyable. The atmosphere would have been nice if a few things hadn't bothered it. What I found extremely annoying was that the waitress, (while my girlfriend and I were there to eat), emptied our 2 bottles of Cola (half of which were already empty) in our glasses and took the 2 bottles with them . She just came out of nowhere just to perform this action! That's putting pressure on us so that we can either clear the table as quickly as possible or order again, but it wasn't even ten minutes from the first order. Then worse happened with the water bottle later! My girlfriend ordered two expensive desserts, one was very hard, then ordered a bottle of water. We ate and drank, but apparently it wasn't fast enough for the male waitress! The bottle was half full ... Without asking, he stuck his fingers in my girlfriend's glass and was just tidying up and taking the bottle with him! We had to brake him! That is extremely disrespectful, unsanitary and intrusive! I don't know if I would really go there again! Most likely no 👎

We were out in Cologne today and in the evening felt like a mix of healthy and meat. It was very, very good. The service was super friendly. We were 4 people and had a grill plate (for 2 people) and a fish plate (1 person). We are more than satisfied. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Cologne.

It's a nice restaurant! I had a tandoor dinner, it was really nice and the taste was perfect. A friendly staff and fast service. I recommend you to have your tandoor dinner here.

I had to choose one star just because there were "no star" evaluation. Today we've ordered mixed grilled plate (menu) for 7 people, what we have received was enough for three people, because to our surprise they have put the seven meals in two plates just to cover up the lack of the original ordered quantiy, which is an obvious way of fraud, let apart putting us in danger forcing us to share the same dish in Corona time which is against the hygienic procedures and against low. We don't recommend this restaurant!!! Never go to this restaurant or order from it, never ever.

its one of best restaurant to visit in koln city. atmosphere and food are amazing, give it a try. u wont dissapointed. enjoy your meal!

Food and atmosphere absolutely recommendable! Service always friendly and courteous. Bread and honey cream are always the highlight for me. : D There are children's chairs and you can pay what I think is important with an EC card. Absolutely an experience to go out to eat with family and friends. If you want to experience Turkish cuisine at a high level, you should definitely visit this restaurant in Cologne!

Authentic Turkish cuisine and many things on the menu that you can't get easily in Germany. Also vegetarian dishes can be veganised.

Food top, fresh, huge portions. Unfortunately you have to call attention to yourself so that the waiter appears. But like to come again.

I enjoyed having meal here. The food and the atmosphere is amazing. Staff is really kind.

The bread was really good, atmosphere also nice. But when I paid the bill, the waitress counted the money wrong. The meal costed 18€ (including 1€ tip), I gave her 100€ and she only gave me back 62€. I told her that the amount was wrong several times, but she insisted it was correct. The funny thing is, every time she pointed to the 2€ coin and said it is 20€. I felt like insulted and blackmailed and can’t believe it. Finally she checked the surveillance video and gave me back the rest 20€ (again I felt insulted, am I like a person who would cheat on just 20€? Come on you counted the money just in front of me and you should see that I did nothing!) I don’t know if she did it on purpose, but anyway it was an unpleasant experience and I do feel offended.

Food was yummy and delicious...

So we have never eaten such bad turkish food anywhere. The salad sauce did not taste and pulled in fries and meat everything tasted sweet. The meat had a very funny aftertaste and was barely seasoned. The minced meat skewer was ok and the rice but also hardly flavored. Even worse than the food was the service. Plates were already cleared while eating at the table. Then tea was offered which is quite nice, but not if half the table still eats. Actually, we wanted to drink something but without a comment or after the question of whether we want to drink something, the glasses were cleared. We have never experienced something like that. At the next meal we will visit again a restaurant on the Keupstrasse. Can only recommend the few meters to drive or run. Because there you get delicious food and good service !!

Happened to pass it by last night ... we just ... hmmm ... that looks nice. We were not disappointed. Very nice restaurant, very good service, very delicious food. Can we only recommend.
